P2/3 Blog 7

This first few weeks back have been very busy for P2/3! Have a wee look below to see what we have been getting up to!

Our Science this term is all about The Human Body! So far we have learned about the brain, the heart and the lungs! Here we are testing how quickly our brain works by judging when to catch the ruler!

We have been working on our 2, 5 and 10 timestables but last week these three clever cookies wanted to give the 3 times table a bash! It looks like they were successful!

Deciding which words are boring words that make Miss Hampson fall asleep and what words are the ones that will make her say WOW!

We did a snow day booklet when we came back to school after all the snow! Jaden went all out and brought in some photos to show off his snow day fun!

Get our science on on the STEM Hub! Ready to learn all about the human body!

As part of the human body we learned all about the 5 senses! One of the senses we looked at was the sense of touch! We made touch cubes to help us explore this sense a bit more!

Making sure we have healthy heart beats as part of our body topic!

Blowing up balloons to help us learn about how the lungs work!

Check back here soon for another P2/3 update!

In  P3 we have been learning about George's Marvellous Medicine. In language we used adjectives to describe his character.

In maths we have been continuing with measure. We were hoping to go outside and measure things but the weather was so bad we had to bring outdoors indoors!!!

We LOVED dressing up for World Book Day. We even got to go to our local library where the library ladies showed us how to use the library properly.
