Primary three have been learning lots about Vikings. So far we have learned about: Viking homelands, Viking settlements, Viking food, Vikings raids, the different reasons Vikings invaded other countries, Viking longhouses and lots of other things too! We have also been doing a daily mile so that we eventually as a class have ran 500 miles to Scandinavia where the Vikings came from, so far we have ran 100 miles. As well as the Vikings we have been learning lots in PE. We have had a focus on football and have been working in stations on the skills we have learned. We have learned how to dribble, pass, shoot and travelling with the ball. We still need to work a little on our defence. We have also linked our learning in class to our learning in PE. We have played a really fun connectives game in gym where we have to listen to a sentence and run to the best connective to create a longer more interesting sentence.
In maths we have mastered how to round not only to the nearest ten but also to the nearest hundred! We have also done lots of work on partitioning, place value and repeated addition. P3 also want you to know how good they have gotten at Fact Families in maths!
Well done P3 you have all worked super hard! We are now really looking forward to parents night to share our work with our families.
