Another Week in Primary 2!

What another busy week in primary 2!

We have been learning lots of new words, we love doing our words and using our words in sentences. We use our whiteboards to make our words and we learn more each week! This week we have also been focusing on our numbers to 100 in Maths and revising all of our sounds in phonics! We have been doing our numbers "up higher to 100" and we really enjoyed it! We loved going up to 1 billion in our number song! We started doing a little bit of times tables in 2s and it was tricky! We especially loved counting to 100 with the big squares!  We have also been learning subtraction! We found it a little tricky but we found the answers in the end!

Working on our letters!
Making our phonic words using our new beads!

Going on a letter hunt to find our words!

One of our phonic words
for this week!
Using our Data Handling info
to make Venns!

I wonder if we made it all the way to 100?!
Of course we did! First time using the big numbers!

Writing our numbers as high as we can!
Fed up with our teddies being in a jumble!
We sorted them out and made "patterned walls
to keep them organised!"

Practise makes perfect!
Organising our money!
No magnetic boards left - so we just
used the carpet!

I wonder what this weeks sound could be?!

Practising tall and small letters!

Number Match!
Letter Hunt!

Using my Busy Book for the first time!
Keep trying and we will get there!

I wonder what we could buy with all these coins?! Especially now we know them all!!

Stay tuned for more news from Primary 2!
