We have had an exciting week in Primary 2! Lots of interesting activities have been going on. On Wednesday we had a football festival at Clydebank High School along with lots of other schools! We got to play with other boys and girls from P2 across Clydebank. We had lots of fun trying to score goals and playing the games. Luckily we had some great weather too!
In Maths we have been learning how to solve problems using lots of different techniques. We learned that problems are not always in Maths but we can have real life problems and other tricky situations. We even had to escape an alien cave with laser beams (string) trying to stop us!
We have also been learning about the lifecycle of plants. We planted our own seeds and learned all the important things that plants need to grow. They need: water, soil, sunlight and a little bit of love! We can not forget to water them in class or they might die. Hopefully our sunflowers will blossom before summer. It was great fun putting the soil in the plant pots and placing our seeds in. We are so excited to see them grow!
